Structural Integration Workshop in Zurich

We are pleased to announce a six day  workshop with the former president of the Rolf Institute, Neal Powers, to take place from June 24 - June 29 2008, in Zurich, Switzerland.
Neal Powers
Neal began his studies with Dr. Rolf in 1971. He was president of the Rolf Institute for six years as well as being on the faculty.
He has been teaching Structural Integration since 1981 and was part of a study group that researched the effects of Structural Integration on ice skaters.

Neal has maintained a private practice in San Francisco for many years.
Neal has a great ability to clearly deliver the principles and theories of the SI work and, with his amazing sense of humor, strong spiritual and family base, he has become a guiding light for many practitioners.
Neal's modesty with respect to our work may have kept him out of the limelight of the Rolfing community and few people know that he recently helped set a world record and thus helped raise 50'000 Dollars for the victims of Hurricane Katharina.
The Workshop/Special Guest It is planned that there will be no external models, but the participants will work on each other, adressing individual structural problems as well as questions with regards to Structural Integration, the "Ten Series", "Post Ten" work, etc.
We are extremly pleased to announce that we will have a special guest:  Hans Flury has agreed to present his movement system "Normal Function" on one of the workshop afternoons.
Organization/Credits/Contact This workhop is  organized through the "Guild for Structural Integration"  - Members of the Rolf Institue will receive  "manipulative credits" for their participation. The cost is 850.- US Dollars.

Please take note of the fact that in June 2008 the European Soccer Championship will be held in Switzerland. Although there are no games in Zurich during the time of the workshop, it may be difficult to find accomodation on your own. Please contact me and we will find  a solution.
